Each
year, the Perennial Plant Association picks their Perennial Plant of the
Year. This award is given to a perennial plant whose appearance, habit, color, and hardiness are of the utmost quality when
compared to others. The plant could be an old favorite or a new introduction, but it is always a sign that the plant should
be considered for any garden.
